Workshop Video for ‘Key Enabling Technologies for Future Wireless, Wired, Optical & Satcom Applications’

Following the SHIFT and Move2THz co-organised workshop "Key Enabling Technologies for Future Wireless, Wired, Optical & Satcom Applications" at the European Microwave Week, the consortium was proud to publish a wrap-up video of event highlights.

This engaging workshop brought together leading researchers, industry professionals, and academic experts from across Europe to discuss the latest advancements in wireless, optical, and satellite communication technologies.

The video captures highlights from the event, featuring dynamic discussions, insightful presentations, and valuable networking moments. A significant feature of the workshop was the unveiling of the new book, "Key Enabling Technologies for Future Wireless, Wired, Optical & Satcom Applications" by co-editors Björn Debaillie (imec) and Francois Brunier (SOITEC). This publication presents cutting-edge research on mm-wave and sub-THz bands, addressing emerging technologies, devices, architectures, and the broader landscape of communication innovation.

The book is a collaborative achievement, reflecting the joint efforts of the SHIFT and Move2THz projects, the European 3D heterogeneous integration community, and the MTT-TC9 society. Together, these groups are driving significant advancements in telecommunications, enabling faster, more efficient, and reliable communication technologies for the future.
